Hotchkiss rifles had as a standard length 26 inch barrels and 1/2 round and 1/2 octagon barrel can be found.
Hotchkiss rifles can be found with deluxe wood with checkered wood and engraving of different grades .
Early Carbines had 24 inch barrel's later ones had 22 1/2 inch barrels as standard lengths.
There were several foreign contracts for this rifle as follows :
China 100,000 --
First Model Muskets had 32 inch barrels as standard .
Muskets had 28 inch barrels as standard length , most of the muskets were used to fill Army and Navy Contracts.
Hotchkiss rifles were manufactured in the following caliber's : Lee type in 6 MM 236 USN , .43 or 11 MM and
45-70 .
Hotchkiss rifles were manufactured in a carbine and musket configuration
