Texas Ranger M.E. Trejo

This gun was shipped on January 15, 1937 to City of Laredo, Att. C. Menede Chief of Police, Laredo, Texas. The gun has the following inscription on the bottom of the barrel : "M. E. Trejo Texas Ranger from J. M. Martin Sheriff Webb County , Texas". Ranger M. Trejo served in Company D Texas Rangers at Laredo, Texas. Trejo was born on March 2, 1902 and joined the Rangers on February 2, 1935 and left the rangers on September 1, 1937. Ranger Trejo died on May 17, 1961. The gun is engraved, 45 caliber, 5 1/2 inch barrel, nickel finish with mother of pearl grips with a steer head.
