This engraved gun with a 7 1/2 inch barrel with a blue and case colored finish with mother of pearl grips and is class A factory engraved . George Strickler won this gun on July 21, 1940 at the Pioneer pistol shoot held at Sun Valley, Idaho with this gun being the first prize . The gun was sold by Colt to G. Van Guilder of Sun Valley, Idaho and was shipped to him on June 27, 1939 .
